Benny

This little cuddle bug is Benny. He is a 2 year old Yorkie (mix?) that is neutered, house trained, and will sleep in his bed at night without a peep. He just ignores the older resident dog in his foster home and shows no signs of knowing how to play. Part of this may be that at the time of being taken to the shelter, he was a mated mess. He had sores on his body from the hair pulling; these have since healed. But we are still trying to heal his ears from the horrid infections in both. Our vet is diligently trying to figure out the origin of the infection so they can be treated effectively.
We are taking applications for him now and hope to have his ears healing prior to adoption. He needs a home with no small children and a calm environment. He will be a great dog for a retired person who want a good companion.
