Anakin

Anakin is an 8 pound, 4 year old dachshund-shih tzu mix who was surrendered to a shelter along with several of his siblings due to his owner having far too many dogs. This guy is just the most precious little nugget! He is shy but sweet and friendly, and he does fine with other dogs (though he is not particularly playful with them, so he does not need to go to a home with another dog). Anakin is brand new and still being evaluated, but he appears to be both house broken and crate trained! He is working on his leash skills - he is not a big fan of walking on a leash but he will learn quickly. He rides well in the car, behaves during bath time, and he loves treats! As he gets comfortable in his foster home, he is leaning in to his personality and showing that he feels safe by curling up on his back for naps in his cozy bed. Anakin loves belly rubs, so if you're looking for a small, sweet sidekick to complete your family, look no further than this little charmer!
