Jax

Jax is an approximately 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier, possibly mixed with Corgi or Basset Hound. The terrier part we are sure of; everything else is best guess! Jax is the sweetest little guy. He photographs bigger than he is due to his XL noggin', but this cutie weighs in under 20 pounds and is full grown. He is housebroken and crate trained (though he does cry in the kennel sometimes). He has exceptional house manners! His favorite spot is curled up on the floor near someone's feet. Jax loves to play with stuffed toys and with one of the dogs in his foster home (the other isn't interested in Jax). He would love a home with another small-to-medium sized, playful dog! He is so friendly with everyone he meets, and he's smart, too! Jax would do well in a basic obedience class and would probably enjoy an activity like an agility course. He loves to run outside in the yard, and for that reason (as well as his kennel behavior) he would be best suited for a single-family house with a fenced yard, rather than an apartment. Don't pass on this sweet guy - he will melt your heart the moment you meet him.
